About Parenting Now!

Parenting Now!, a division of Birth To Three, is the provider of nationally recognized parenting curricula, products, training and consultation. Materials are designed for programs and practitioners who work with families that have children. Rooted in more than 28 years of direct work with families through its parent organization, Birth To Three, Parenting Now! has developed highly effective curricula and products for group-based parenting programs, now used in over 800 sites throughout the United States and in 13 international locations.

At the heart of our curricula and products is the belief that parenting is the most important job there is and that parents are their children's most important guides and teachers. Our curricula can be used in groups or with individual parents/families. Groups bring parents together to build on strengths and foster a supportive community that can continue and thrive well past the formal groups meetings. Many of the groups that have participated in our programs have continued to stay connected for 5, 10, and even more than 25 years.

Based on evidenced-based best practices, each of our curricula undergoes rigorous academic and cultural reviews. Tested with families and parent educators to assure effectiveness, each curricula draws on the best research available on parenting, family dynamics, child development, and stress management.

Our professional staff provides training and consultation to programs and practitioners throughout the United States and internationally. Through a partnership with Holt International Children's Services, our Make Parenting A Pleasure curriculum is now being used successfully in Romania to reduce child abandonment to institutions. We are currently developing licensing agreements with additional international partners to allow for translation and dissemination in their respective countries.
